2024 UNH Digital Marketing Conference

The 2024 UNH Digital Marketing Conference will take place in the Strafford Room in the Memorial Union Building (83 Main Street, Durham, NH) on the campus of the University of New Hampshire.

Free parking will be available for all conference attendees in the UNH Campus Crossings Visitor Lot.  Those registered will receive additional information on the location and parking by email one week prior to the conference.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the conference and is included in the cost of enrollment.

  • Sarah Lipes

    Sarah Lipes

    Sarah Lipes is the Director of Retail Marketing at Lindt & Sprüngli, USA. She started her career in finance, but after receiving her MBA moved into Brand Management due to the perfect marriage of budget management and consumers trends. In the last 5 years at Lindt, she has worked in the direct to consumer landscape overseeing many different marketing functions. Her passion for innovation started early in her career where she would do annual flavor launches at Ocean Spray. At Lindt, she has brought more than 50 packaging and chocolate product launches in her tenure.  She now leads a dynamic marketing team in creating memorable moments for Lindt enthusiasts across all categories and seasons.

  • Mark Majewski

    Mark Majewski

    Mark Majewski is the current creative director of the Boston Bruins and TD Garden, in his fifth season at the helm.

    During this 2023-24 season, the Bruins celebrated their Centennial season, marking the first American team of the National Hockey League to turn 100-years old, and third ever behind Montreal and Toronto. As of of this season, Majewski played an instrumental part leading the Bruins through its 18-month Centennial season celebration, keying in and developing the baseline identity of the 2023-24 season and expanding those elements in a unique, elaborate and cohesive look and feel bringing 100 years of Bruins hockey to life - the ideation, development and execution of the Centennial has touched all aspects of the organization, including all digital platforms, the Bruins’ opening video signaling the start of the season, all in-arena assets and new public space, Heritage Hall, a new state-of-the-art immersive exhibit that will celebrate the franchise’s rich 100-year history.

    In his day to day role as creative director for the B’s, he serves as the lead designer and oversees creative resources for all divisions of the Boston Bruins, TD Garden, and related Boston-based business lines through conceptualizing, executing and monitor the integrity of the brand, functioning both as lead designer and managing Boston’s project manager.

    Majewski’s career started off in the public relations / communications / marketing sector of college athletics before making the full-time switch to creative in the professional ranks.

    Prior to the Bruins, Majewski was the the Director of Creative Solutions, Design & Digital at Clemson University for one season, handling the day-to-day execution of the department social media accounts with a primary focus on the management and design of the Clemson football account ( @ClemsonFB ). In addition to that oversight, Majewski prepared, delegated and executed daily content plans for the Clemson football social media channels, including the run up to and through the football program’s National Championship in 2018.

    Before Clemson, Majewski was the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at Boston College for five years (2013-18), serving as the public relations representative / sports information director for the men’s hockey program. In addition to his PR representation duties, his role changed and became more involved to better serve BC from a visual and digital standpoint; spearheading a consistent look and feel on all fronts to enhance Boston College’s brand by upholding a relationship with Under Armour ensuring standards we’re being met.

    In his first full-time role, Majewski was the Associate Director of Athletics Communications at Northeastern University, also serving as the public relations representative for the men’s hockey program, as well as volleyball, track & field and other duties.

    Majewski has spoken at many conferences throughout the country including the Twitter Sports Summit, Major Level Creative Conference, SVG College Summit and the College Sports Information Directors of America on topics ranging from graphic design to visual branding to best social media practices.

    Majewski graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 with a degree in Sports Management & Communication and acquired his Master’s Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit in Sport Administration.

    Jessica Nickerson

    Jessica Nickerson, Director of Marketing at GolfForever

    A data-driven marketing leader with over 10 years of experience in digital and subscription-based marketing, strategy, and analysis.

    At GolfForever, Jessica spearheaded strategies that drove the company's most profitable period, including successful promotions and product bundling.

    Previously, she held the position of Brand Director at Beachbody, where she led the omni-channel marketing strategy for its top-selling program and helped orchestrate the launch campaign for its flagship streaming service and stationary bike, now core products for the company.

  • Flo Nicolas

    Flo Nicolas, Esq., is a lawyer, emerging technology thought leader, and Global Contributing author. Co-authoring 'Legal Operations in the Age of AI and Data,' her chapter explores the intersection of legal operations, DEI initiatives, and data analytics. As the Founder and Chief Data and Innovation Strategist at Get Tech Smart, Flo assists organizations in utilizing data analytics for project assessment, ensuring successful outcomes. Recognized as a Gartner Legal Ambassador, she has received accolades such as the NH Business Review Outstanding Women in Business 2023 award and the NH Tech Alliance Tech Professional of the Year 2023. Further solidifying her impact, Flo has been named to the 2024 New Hampshire 200 list, showcasing her influence on the state's economy. A TEDx speaker, she continues to make significant contributions at the intersection of law, technology, and business.

  • Alec Newcomb

    Alec Newcomb brings 18+ years of digital marketing experience and has helped companies do over 1 billion in CPG ecommerce sales for Unileiver, P&G, Kellogg’s, SC Johnson, McCormick, Kraft, Nestle, Coke-Cola, GSK, KraftHeinz. He has taught classes at the University of Vermont, University of New Hampshire, Champlain College and various digital boot camps on marketing, ecommerce, and analytics. He is a frequent industry speaker at Nielsen events, ERA, Consumer Goods Forum, Internet Retailer and Mobile Marketing Forum.

  • Marlana M. Trombley

    Marlana Trombley

    Marlana is a Growth Marketing Strategist and Educator focused on solving your most pressing marketing challenges. She structures her classes with action-packed best practices to grow your company.  

    She currently is the VP of Marketing at Orbit Group.

    Backed with industry certifications, her expertise extends across brand, growth and digital marketing. She has specifically established a name for herself with her mastery of social media, social media advertising, local search engine optimization, email, content marketing, and brand development.

    Marlana shares growth strategies that produce high-quality results. There is a reason why her workshops often sell out. Her classes foster a laser-focused atmosphere; they are designed to maximize your time and effort as you uncover the right high-impact tactics for your organization and industry.     Marlana’s passion goes beyond marketing, shining through with her board involvement and volunteer efforts. She recently earned her spot in 2019 ‘40 under Forty’ Class for the state of New Hampshire.

    Marlana recharges by teaching Latin & Ballroom dance, listening to podcasts, exploring NH with her husband, Jeff, their son Luca, and their dog, Rigley. She is also on a mission to move her parents and twin brother to NH!

    Brad is a Pay-Per-Click expert and all-around paid digital marketing specialist. I collaborate with my clients to achieve their marketing goals while creating a unified approach. I focus on search & social media paid advertising campaign creation and management. I am experienced in Google Ads, Bing Ads, & Facebook Ads.  He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.

    Content Director, EVR Advertising

    Elyse crafts captivating content that blends art and data to bring brands to life. She began her career as a video editor after graduating from Emerson College, later ascending to the role of Creative Director at the nation's fastest-growing online university. Now, she leads EVR Advertising's content division as Content Director, bringing a strategic approach to content creation and finding creative efficiencies to meet client needs.

  • Roberto Landrau

    Digital Marketing Specialist, EVR Advertising

    A passionate marketer with a love for connecting with people, Roberto takes pride in helping integrate the right media mix to best serve clients. His omnichannel approach ensures key channels and tactics are pushed forward, including PPC ads, paid social media, search engine optimization (SEO) and traditional tactics, such as print, broadcast and out of home. He applies an analytical eye to monitor and report on paid advertising and uses a data-driven approach to plan, propose and optimize client campaigns.
