Remote Patient Monitoring

Module Overview 

In this module, participants will explore remote patient monitoring (RPM) as a telehealth modality and learn best practices for the use of RPM. Key content will also include reimbursement considerations and the use of RPM in chronic care management. 

Learning Objectives 

  1. Define remote patient monitoring as a telehealth modality. 

  2. Discuss the benefits of remote patient monitoring in chronic care management. 

  3. Identify key considerations for reimbursement of remote patient monitoring services.

    Jennifer Chadbourne

    Jen Chadbourne is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire and a faculty member of the UNH Telehealth Practice Center. She teaches a variety of courses on the topics of nutrition, food science, diabetes, and telehealth. Jen also works clinically as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. As part of a virtual care team, her clinical work focuses on the delivery of individualized diabetes care via telehealth and the integration of remote patient monitoring technology.
