In 2016, I completed the Communication Skills Certificate program through Professional Development & Training at UNH. I was amazed by the variety of workshops and conferences offered as part of the program. Most notably, I enjoyed Analyzing Workstyles: Using MBTI to Improve Communication and Making Your Business Writing More Effective, as they offered strategies and skills that I could immediately implement back at my office. At all of the programs I attended, the instructors always offered valuable experience, knowledge, and applicable examples.
What I learned during the certificate program has been a tremendous help at my job as an Academic Advisor at SNHU as I communicate with students everyday through email, the phone, and in person. I am proud to use my new skills at work and have even presented to my team about strategies and tools I learned from my time spent with UNH Professional Development & Training.
