IMPORTANT NOTICE: This program is traditionally a face-to-face classroom training program, but the Fall 2020 Semester section will be held online as we prioritize distance learning in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In the midst of constant, fast-paced communication - meetings, e-mails, texts and phone calls – it can sometimes be difficult to get your ideas out there and have them be heard. The loudest ideas aren’t always the best, however, so it’s important to learn how to communicate your message effectively.
In this workshop, you will learn: how to adapt to differences in communication style based on personality and gender, how to project a more assertive image, how to express yourself assertively in a way that feels comfortable to you, how to handle conflicts and confrontations, how to express your opinion, and how to ask for what you want.
