Constructive Conversations: How to Foster Open Dialogue

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This program is scheduled as a face-to-face classroom training during the Fall 2020 semester, but may be moved online due to future recommendations for distance learning due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Any updates will be posted on this page and all enrolled students will be notified by email of any anticipated curtailments

Whether you're trying to improve morale, resolve employee relations issues, or correct performance problems, your success depends on your skill at bringing up issues constructively and then guiding the conversation in a productive direction.

This workshop will provide you with practical ideas and techniques for addressing important issues and sensitive subjects in a way that increases the other person's willingness to discuss them maturely and hear your point of view. It will also help you keep the conversation on track and moving toward a productive conclusion.
