IMPORTANT NOTICE: This program is traditionally a face-to-face classroom training program, but the Spring 2021 Semester section will be held online as we still prioritize distance learning in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). And it is a two half-day workshop.
Are you getting the best from your emails, or are they getting the best of you? In many ways, emailing has made communication easier and faster, but it has also created its own set of problems. Emailing is often overused or used when another form of communication would be more effective. Because emails are written quickly, and because they lack the non-verbal aspect of face-to-face or telephone communication, they can easily be misunderstood.
In this workshop, you will learn how to focus your message quickly, write to the reader, and organize your material so that it is easily understood. You will also learn how to adapt the wording and style of your message so that it gets results and strengthens working relationships.
