Mastering the Art of Conversation

“Every great romance and each big business deal begins with small talk. The key to successful small talk is learning how to connect with others, not just communicate with them.” Bernardo J. Carducci

With all the emphasis on social media and technology, some fear that we are losing our conversation skills, or worse, have never learned them. Yet, knowing how to start a conversation, keep it going and end it gracefully is a crucial element of success in business and our personal lives. Whether it is a networking event, business after-hours, meeting new clients, or just chatting with co-workers, knowing how to connect with others increases our success and happiness. In this workshop, you will increase your ability to: build rapport, make small talk, begin and end conversations, pose and answer questions, project openness and confidence, and adapt to your conversation partner. You’ll learn and practice in a low-stress, fun, interactive environment and leave with great confidence and skills.
