Holly Alperin

Holly Alperin has worked for over 20 years in public health and education. Currently she is a faculty member in UNH's Department of Kinesiology. Previously she worked for 16 years for the Mass. Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, most recently as the Nutrition Education and Training Coordinator to child nutrition staff in the NSLP and NSB programs. She has a strong background in promoting school health programs at the local, state and national levels, skills-based comprehensive health education, and providing support to develop and implement quality professional development that leads to behavior change. She received her Ed.M. in Policy, Planning and Administration from Boston University, her B.S. in Health Education/Health Promotion from Central Michigan University, and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES).
