Lynna Kalna has a unique balance of experience in the academic and corporate worlds, including college professor and public school teacher, educational consultant, freelance magazine writer, corporate trainer, instructional designer, keynote speaker, and author. Her career has been focused on improving written communications in educational and business environments, F2F and as well as online. Over the last 30 years, she has received numerous awards including Professor of Merit, Professor of Distinction, PRIDE, and Technology Innovation. She is the co-author of The Write Direction: A New Teacher’s Practical Guide to Teaching Writing and Its Application to the Workplace and has given numerous presentations for the Association for Business Communication. She received her BS and MS degrees from Ohio University.
