Melissa Mannon

Ms. Mannon is currently the certified Library Media Specialist at Goffstown High School. She is also a certified Technology Integrator. She has worked in the field of library and information sciences for 25 years, formerly running her own archives consulting firm, and working in public libraries and museums in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Ms. Mannon holds a Master’s Degree in library science from Simmons College and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University. She has a passion for teaching information literacy skills, aiming to help students wade through the overabundance of information to think critically and responsibly. Ms. Mannon has written several books and articles on varied information topics. Her most recent publication is a collaborative chapter for Elsevier Publishing entitled “The New Hampshire Human Library Project: Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges by Engaging Communities of Learners.”
