Mike Beland, from Durham, New Hampshire, is a recognized homeland security expert, with a particular emphasis on critical infrastructure security and resilience. He served as an attorney with the Committee on Homeland Security in the U.S. House of Representatives and was appointed by the Obama Administration to be a senior counsel and chief of staff at the Office of Infrastructure Protection at DHS. He teaches law at the University of Maryland School of Law and works for a preeminent global consulting firm. He is licensed to practice law in NH.
