DURHAM – Administrative professionals will have the opportunity to strengthen their skills at the 2019 Conference for Office Professionals on Thursday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of New Hampshire in Durham. This program is designed for office managers, executive assistants, and administrative professionals based in an office setting.
Administrators and office professionals are more than just office support; they play an instrumental role in the success of a company. The ability to multitask and communicate effectively allows the entire office to function efficiently.
Session topics include: achieving your personal best, managing change, positivity, conflict resolution through effective communication, discovering and leveraging your strengths, and transcending differences. Attendees will choose from six of the four breakout sessions offered.
Featured presenters are Peter Hughes, professor of organizational behavior at UNH’s Paul College of Business and Economics; Gerri King, social psychologist and corporate organizational consultant; Janet Edmunson, consultant and former Manager of Wellness for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation; and David Lee, founder of HumanNature@Work and author of Managing Employee Stress and Safety.
