Durham - UNH Professional Development and Training will host a multi-day workshop designed to teach individuals how to start their own craft brewery. The workshop runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from October 23 through November 1 in Durham.
Participants of the Craft Brewery Startup Workshop will have access to a seacoast brewery tour on Wednesday, Oct 27 and admission to the 2018 NH Craft Brew Conference (a $150+ value) on Friday, Nov 2 in Manchester. Working professionals will benefit from the flexible schedule throughout this multi-day workshop.
Craft brewery owners and industry professionals will lead the sessions, share their stories and provide insights into the inner workings of their businesses. Attendees from previous years will also share valuable tips about their startup experiences. Participants will leave the workshop with a personalized business plan, new industry contacts, and a better understanding of what it takes to enter the nano/craft brewing market.
The NH Craft Brew Conference features speakers from Henniker Brewing Company, Throwback Brewery, the UNH Brewery, Brewing Science Services LLC, Chapel + Main, and Liar’s Bench Beer Co. Those in attendance will sample craft beer and network with others who share a passion for brewing.
Tuition for the startup workshop is $750 and includes a brewery tour of the seacoast and admission to the conference.
