Managing Workplace Accommodation, Leave, and Workers' Comp Challenges

This workshop offers a straightforward guide to three crucial areas of workplace management: ADA, PWFA, and religious accommodations, untangling federal, state, and company leave policies, and workers' compensation. Tailored for HR professionals, managers, and anyone with the responsibility for compliance in their workplace.

Participants will learn about:
•    Accommodations: Identifying different types of accommodation requests, engaging in a productive "interactive process" with employees, and effectively document the accommodation process.
•    Leave laws and policies: Understanding the FMLA, obtain an overview of state leave laws, determining the appropriate leave for various situations, and discussing how to align the law with your company policies
•    Workers' Compensation: Navigating the complexities of workers' comp laws, best practices for managing injuries and supporting injured workers, and claim cost control.
Join us for interactive discussions and real cases to learn how to make informed decisions, avoid potential discrimination and/or wrongful termination lawsuits, and foster a more inclusive and respectful work environment.
