AI Agents & Automation for Business
An AI agent is software that can take action on your behalf — not just answer a question, but actually do the thing. Send the email. Update the spreadsheet. Pull the report. File the ticket.
This workshop is a practical introduction to where agents are useful today (and honest about where they're not). We'll look at real examples: automated meeting prep, inbox triage, recurring report generation, simple data pipelines between tools you already use. You don't need to be technical. We'll work with tools that have a visual interface and connect to things like Gmail, Slack, and Google Drive without code.
We'll also talk about what to not automate — the work where having a human in the loop matters, and how to spot it.
You'll leave with: One small automation you've built (or sketched out) that you can implement the next week, plus a list of candidates for what to automate next.
Good for: Anyone with repetitive work they're tired of doing, and the patience to set something up once so they don't have to do it again.
