Designed for marketing professionals and business leaders alike, this program equips you with cutting-edge skills to drive growth and elevate your brand. Learn directly from industry experts through hands-on workshops covering social media, email and content marketing, paid media, SEO, website design, analytics, AI, marketing automation, and strategic planning.

Earn your non-credit certificate by completing any six elective workshops—choosing only the topics that match your goals and interests. With flexible scheduling, you can complete the program in as little as three months or take up to two years. Most courses are offered multiple times per year, making it easy to build your expertise on your own timeline.

The UNH Digital Marketing Certificate is designed for:

  • Experienced marketers looking to stay ahead of evolving digital trends and technologies
  • Professionals without a formal marketing background who are now managing digital marketing tasks
  • Entrepreneurs and small business owners who frequently take on marketing responsibilities themselves

Flexibility in Registration - Participants can register for individual workshops without committing to the entire certificate program.
 

Certificate Requirements

  • Complete six (6) elective workshops
  • Complete elective courses within a two year period.
  • Enroll in the Digital Marketing Certificate program. To enroll in the Digital Marketing Certificate program, add the "DM Certificate Enrollment fee" to your cart at checkout when signing up for any of the elective workshops (an additional one-time $50 fee).

Digital Marketing Certificate Digital Badge

Participants who successfully complete the UNH Digital Marketing Certificate Program will automatically receive a digital badge that verifies their accomplishment and skill. Digital Badges can be shared on social media such as LinkedIn as well as blogs and  online portfolios.

Certificate Information

Policies

Coursework must be completed within two years. If you are enrolled in multiple certificate programs, a maximum of two workshops can count toward more than one certificate. Required workshops cannot be waived, though substitutions may be approved on a case-by-case basis. UNH reserves the right to modify or discontinue programs at any time.

Enrollment

You don’t need to be enrolled in a certificate program to attend workshops. To have courses count toward a certificate, enroll before your third workshop in that content area. Add the certificate to your cart at checkout for a one-time $50 fee. For help, call (603) 862-7380.

Scheduling & Locations

Workshops are offered in Portsmouth, Manchester, and Live Online. Most are available each spring and fall, though some are offered once a year. Programs are designed so certificates can often be completed within a year. There are no set start or end dates. 

Completion & Certificates

Progress is tracked automatically in your Learn for Life account. Digital certificates are issued within two weeks. If you haven’t received your certificate after three weeks, please email us at professional.development@unh.edu.

Each individual workshop varies in cost. You may view the tuition price of each workshop by following the links above. Payment when registering can be completed on a class-to-class basis, or all together. There is also a one-time $50 certificate administration fee.

We highly recommend registering for these workshops early as they tend to fill up. Some workshops may have limited seats/spots available. Enrollment may close up to five days prior to the workshop start date.

You may view the location of each workshop above and/or when registering for a workshop. Specific directions to the workshop location will be provided upon registration or can be found here.

If the workshop you are registering for is listed as "Live Online," the workshop will take place in a live virtual format via Zoom. More information will be provided upon registration.

This may be due to the workshop being at maximum capacity, canceled, or not currently scheduled. We recommend checking back routinely for updates. You may also contact us for further information.
