About the Digital Design Certificate Program

In today’s ever-growing digital industries, the line between graphic design and web development is becoming increasingly blurred. Designers and front end developers often find themselves working collaboratively, using the same mix of tools and terminology, in the creation and delivery of diverse digital projects.

This certificate program is comprised of six elective workshops. You have the option of earning a general Digital Design certificate, comprised of a mix of graphic design and web development topics, or a Digital Design certificate with a concentration in either Graphic Design or Web Development.

  • In the Graphic Design concentration, you will dive deeper into the world of Adobe Creative Cloud, gaining hands-on experience and learning how to conceptualize, create and deliver design ideas from start to finish. 
  • In the Web Development concentration, you will obtain a deep understanding of HTML and CSS, as well as how to utilize tools and frameworks such as Photoshop and WordPress to design webpages, templates and web graphics.

Flexibility in Registration - Participants can register for individual workshops without committing to the entire certificate program.

Certificate Requirements

 To earn your Digital Design certificate:

  • Complete six (6) elective workshops within a two year period.
  • Complete elective courses within a two year period.
  • Enroll in the Digital Design Certificate program. To enroll in the Digital Design Certificate program, add the "DD Certificate Enrollment fee" to your cart at checkout when signing up for any of the elective workshops (an additional one-time $50 fee).

Each individual workshop varies in cost. You may view the tuition price of each workshop by following the links above. Payment when registering can be completed on a class-to-class basis, or all together. There is also a one time $50 certificate administration fee.

Select your workshop(s) above and continue to "Enroll Now." Follow the steps provided to register for the workshop and reserve your seat. To enroll in the certificate program, add the "Certificate Enrollment fee" to your cart at checkout when signing up for any of the elective workshops. 

We highly recommend registering for these workshops early as they tend to fill up. Some workshops may have limited seats/spots available. Enrollment may close up to five days prior to the workshop start date.

You may view the location of each workshop above and/or when registering for a workshop. Specific directions to the workshop location will be provided upon registration or can be found here.

If the workshop you are registering for is listed as "Live Online," the workshop will take place in a live virtual format via Zoom. More information will be provided upon registration.

You may be required to have certain materials and/or applications downloaded to participate in the workshop. Reminders about this will be provided via email upon registration.
