9:00am – 9:05am Welcome to the 2026 UNH Digital Marketing Conference
9:10am – 10:10am The Power of Presence in a Performative World
Michael Cinquino, Founder, SOHO Creative Studio
In this talk, Michael Cinquino introduces the Johari Window, a psychological framework developed in 1955, and shows how it reveals exactly what is happening when digital marketing feels polished, professional, and completely disconnected. Michael walks the audience through a live demonstration that makes the invisible visible, then connects the framework to a practical, evidence-based approach to video marketing for professional service firms. The audience will leave with a new lens for understanding why authentic video, placed where your traffic is already going, is the highest-leverage trust move a firm can make, and why the biggest barrier to doing it is not technology, budget, or time but psychology.
10:20am – 11:20am Breakout Session #1 | You Choose!
Room 164: From Leads to Revenue: Fixing the Broken Middle in Paid Media
Brad Wilbur, Director of Paid Media, Vital Design
The CPL Trap: Why optimizing for cheap leads often produces the wrong outcomes and the need to reframe success metrics around revenue, not lead volume. The Data Gap: An honest look at tracking limitations and data silos. Aligning with Sales: Practical tools for closing the feedback loop. The Hard Questions: When good leads come in but aren't closing, the problem often lives outside the ad platform. This section digs into the questions marketers need to ask. Reporting on Impact: How to build a narrative stakeholders care about.
Targeting for Impact: How to use everything covered in this session to make smarter decisions for your business and paid media strategy going forward.
Room 334/336: Are You Being Recommended? (2026) AI doesn’t rank results. It chooses winners.
Marlana Trombley, Head of Marketing, Orbitz
We’ll break down how SEO, AEO, and GEO are reshaping how people discover businesses and why showing up isn’t enough anymore. Through live demos and hands-on exercises, you’ll see how AI decides who gets recommended and how to position your brand so you’re not just findable but chosen
11:30am – 12:15pm City Connect: The Red Sox
Kelsey Doherty, Senior Director of Brand and Social, Boston Red Sox
12:15pm – 1:00pm Lunch
1:00pm – 2:00pm Breakout Session #2 | You Choose!
Room 164: Stay out to the Email Cemetery: How to Make the Most out of Every Message
Charlene DeCesare, Author, The Email Cemetery
In this practical and engaging workshop based on the book The Email Cemetery, we look at the most common mistakes that get people ‘ghosted,’ and what to instead. Participants will walk away with simple techniques to write clearer, more effective messages that respect the reader’s time and make it easier to get a response.
Room 334/336: The Power Duo: Aligning Personal and Company Brands for Real Growth
Lysa Miller, Founder of Ladybugz Interactive Agency
Your personal brand and your company brand aren’t competing, they’re compounding. Learn how to position both effectively, leverage one to grow the other, and avoid the common traps that dilute your message. This session will give you a practical framework for building credibility, visibility, and trust across both.
