Michael Cinquino
Michael Cinquino has spent his career in rooms where the cost of performance, and the power of genuine presence, were impossible to ignore.
He began as a U.S. Navy Rescue Swimmer, where staying present under extreme conditions was not a philosophy. It was a life-or-death requirement. After the military, he earned a BA in Acting from DeSales University and an MFA from Rutgers University, training in a tradition built on a single radical premise: stop planning what you are going to do and start responding to what is actually happening in front of you. Moment by moment. Behavior by behavior. That discipline gave him a precise understanding of what it costs to perform, and what becomes possible when you stop.
He carried that understanding to the CIO Strategy Exchange, where working directly alongside its founders gave him a decade behind closed doors with senior Chief Information Officers from Fortune 70 organizations. The truth he witnessed there was consistent: trust and innovation emerge when people feel safe enough to think out loud, name the real tension, and stay in contact.
Today Michael is the founder of SoHo Creative Studio, where professional service firms build trust with their audiences through video. He is the creator of the Communication Dynamics Lab, a psychologically safe, highly interactive space where individuals and teams become more confident, clear, and compelling communicators.
He is completing his second Master's in Clinical Mental Health at Northwestern University and sees clients at Manhattan Therapy, where the work offers a steady space to understand what is no longer working, and what becomes possible when we feel safe enough to be more fully ourselves.
