Topics covered will include:
- Fundamental federal and state laws covering hours worked, time-keeping, overtime, minimum wage, payroll period requirements, and independent contractor status
- Considerations regarding remote access and the Portal to Portal Act; trends in wage and hour enforcement
- Handling claims before the U.S. Department of Labor and the NH Department of Labor
- EEO-1 reporting requirements
- Overtime exemptions, particularly the so-called "white collar” exemptions
