This one day conference brings together strong successful women to hear how they face the challenges and achievements that women experience while working in traditionally male-dominated sectors of the business world. Showcasing the success stories of several accomplished leaders, while providing tips and guidance for those wanting to enhance their own journey is the sole purpose of this conference.
Topics such as negotiation tactics, preparation strategies, and navigating power dynamics will inspire engaging and insightful conversations that will continue to strengthen the presence of women in these industries.
Conference Fee: $99
Keynote Speaker:
Lauren Kane | CEO, BioOne
Confirmed Panels:
- Stories of Success: Case Studies: Instead of answering prompted discussion questions, these accomplished women will describe their stories of hurdles and recognition, ups and downs in industries where the high-power positions have been occupied by mostly men. Where did they start? What path did they take? Did they hit a wall? If so, how did they deal with it? How did they build their network? This panel hopes to uplift and inspire attendees by hearing the narratives of women who have already had career-shaping experiences. After discussing their stories, the panel will open for questions from attendees
- Business for a Purposeful Future: This panel will celebrate those female leaders using their background and knowledge to target critical issues in our world. As they work to increase sustainability efforts, human rights work, or gender discrimination, they are also facing the obstacles that women experience when making waves in male-dominated fields. Innovation and resilience are key traits that these women will analyze in regards to how they developed them and maintained them throughout their career paths and how much weight they hold in the workforce.
- Her Path Forward: Guiding the Next Generation of Women Leaders: Empowering future women leaders is crucial for advancing today’s dynamic business landscape. This session focuses on equipping young women with the knowledge, skills, and leadership needed to thrive in their careers. It will explore approaches to building leadership skills, fostering resilience, and navigating the unique challenges faced by women in the business world. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to make a lasting impact.
Workshops:
Workshop-style session discussing intricate topics. These conversations can be challenging and can hold some of us back from feeling empowered in our careers.
