Dr. Melissa Nemon is the owner and founder of Nemon Consulting LLC, a woman-owned community-based research and services firm in operation for over a decade. Her work is community focused and she studies potential solutions to social issues and injustices through community-based research and practice. She has worked with local communities; state and federal government agencies; and a variety of nonprofit/NGO, government, and for-profit organizations and agencies. Since 2008, she teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate academic classes as well as facilitates various community workshops and speaks at conferences across the US. Melissa holds a B.A. in Psychology, a M.A. in Community Social Psychology, a M.A. in Community Economic Development with a specialization in Public Policy, and a Ph.D. in Community Economic Development.
