Program Modifications & Cancellations
If a PD&T program you are enrolled in is modified (a change in format, date, time, location, or weather-related curtailment) you will receive notification of the change by email to the address associated with your UNH Learn For Life account. In the days leading up to your PD&T program, please check your email for any program-related communication. In the event of a program modification or cancellation, you will have the option to transfer your tuition to another program or receive a full refund. If you do not provide information on the program you would like to transfer to within three business days, you will be automatically dropped from the class, and refunded if you have already paid.
Refund Policy
UNH Professional Development & Training will issue refunds minus a $50 administrative fee if written cancellation from a student is received at least five days prior to the start date of a program. Alternatively, a transfer to another open program can be processed at no charge up to five days in advance of the start date of a program. No refunds are available within five days, and transfer requests will include a $50 administrative fee during this period.
Refund requests due to emergencies or illness are handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact Professional Development & Training at (603) 862-7380 or professional.development@unh.edu. Payment in full (or a purchase order on file) are required prior to the program start date; failure to pay may limit your ability to register for future PD&T programming.
UNH Professional Development & Training reserves the right to cancel any courses due to insufficient enrollment at least three business days prior to the start date. Cancellations due to issues beyond our control such as inclement weather or instructor emergencies may also occur. PD&T makes every effort to notify participants by email as soon as the decision has been made to cancel a course (no later than 3 days prior to the course start date); if cancellations occur within this window, we will also call participants at their preferred number on file. To ensure you receive prompt notification, please log in to your profile at https://learnforlife.unh.edu/ and add your mobile phone as your preferred contact number.

Virtual Programs
PD&T offers a variety of virtual programs, with the following designations:
- “Live Online” workshops
- Career Training
- Quick Skills
If you register for a “Live Online” workshop offered by UNH PD&T, you will receive the access details and any class materials via email at least two business days prior to the class. The majority of our “Live Online” workshops are offered via Zoom, but a few may be hosted on other platforms (Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.).
If you enroll in a program through an approved partner website (other than UNH Learn for Life), please look for email communication from that partner with specific program information. For any questions pertaining to access and enrollment for PD&T partner programs, please email professional.development@unh.edu.
We highly recommend having a functioning camera and microphone if you are considering participating in any virtual program. If you have any questions or have not received your access details, please contact us at professional.development@unh.edu, or call our main line at 603-862-7380.
