William Nicoll
William Nicoll, Ph.D., has over 30 years' experience as a Professor of Counseling at the University of Cincinnati, University of Maine, and Florida Atlantic University, where he was also department chair from 1996 to 2002. At the graduate level, Dr. Nicoll has taught many courses including: Advanced Counseling and Techniques--Brief Therapies; Family Counseling Issues in Mental Health Counseling; and Counseling Special Needs Populations. His primary areas of expertise focuses on Brief Counseling and Therapy with individuals and families. Dr. Nicoll has served as the national trainer in Brief Counseling for the American Counseling Association's National Professional Development program (1995-2002) and has provided over 500 workshops to mental health professionals and educators throughout North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and South and Central America.
