The Certificate Program in Wetland Delineation will provide you with practical skills on how to use different methods of wetland evaluation, better understand the rules and processes behind evaluation, how to properly classify wetlands throughout New England, and much more.
The program is offered at Pease in Portsmouth, in Manchester, Durham, and at various off-site locations.
To receive the Wetlands Certificate, students must complete a total of 5 workshops in this format:
- Complete 1 Required Workshop
- Complete 4 Elective Workshops
Students are also required to complete the program within two years.
1 Required Workshop:
Choose any four (4) electives:
- Creating Wetland Delineation Maps: An Independent Study
- U.S. Army Corps Wetland Delineation Methods
- Unraveling the Newly Adopted NHDES Wetland Rules
- Wetland Classification
- Winter Plant Identification for Wetland Boundary Determination
- Understanding the Basis and Use of Wetland Evaluation

What is the cost?
Each individual workshop varies in cost. You may view the tuition price of each workshop by following the links below. Payment when registering can be completed on a class-to-class basis, or all together. There is also a one time $50 certificate administration fee.
How do I register?
Select your course(s) below and continue to "Enroll Now." Follow the steps provided to register for the workshop and reserve your seat. To enroll in the Wetlands Certificate program, add the "WL Certificate Enrollment Fee" to your cart at checkout when signing up for any of the elective workshops. (An additional one-time $50 fee.)
When should I register?
We highly recommend registering for these workshops early as they tend to fill up. Some courses may have limited seats/spots available.
