Google Classroom - From Setup to Success
This comprehensive 1-day training will be split into two engaging parts to help you master Google Classroom for effective teaching and assessment.
Part 1: Teaching with Classroom In this session, you'll learn the basics of setting up your Google Classroom. We’ll guide you through:
- Creating a Google Classroom and customizing settings.
- Adding and inviting students to your class.
- Setting up the gradebook (optional).
- Posting announcements, assignments, and questions.
- Creating quizzes and topics to organize your class materials.
Part 2: Feedback & Assessment with Classroom The second session will focus on using Google Classroom for feedback and assessments. You’ll discover how to:
- Review student work and engage in a Q&A session.
- Create and use rubrics for grading.
- Access and provide comments, formative assessments, and feedback on student submissions.
- Assign grades with or without rubrics for a more personalized evaluation.
By the end of this session, you'll have a strong understanding of how to streamline your teaching workflow and give constructive feedback to your students, helping them succeed in your class
