This interactive 9-week course focuses on the SHRM certification competency model, also known as the "SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge" (SHRM BASK). The content of the program will review this entire model to help participants prepare to take the exam. Sessions involve content review, discussion, and test-taking practice. Success on the exam requires both content knowledge and increasing people’s confidence when they take the exam. This program focuses on these critical components for success.

Live Online | Instructor Led | Tues and Thursdays, 1pm -3pm | Feb 11 - April 10

The live sessions are recorded for review later. Participants receive a copy of the SHRM Learning System that will be utilized during the program.

Registration includes the online and print versions of the SHRM Learning System—the official cert prep tool, now updated with questions previously used on actual SHRM Certification exams. Designed specifically for adult learners, this interactive online learning tool creates a personalized study path, based on your knowledge, experience and goals, to help you optimize your study time, learn the SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge® (SHRM BASK®) and approach the SHRM Certification exams with confidence.

Our SHRM-certified instructor leads you through the SHRM Learning System, the official SHRM certification prep tool. This interactive roadmap delivers flexible and effective SHRM-CP® and SHRM-SCP® exam preparation.

Designed using a proven approach for teaching adult learners, this system helps you understand, apply, and engage with behavioral competencies and HR Knowledge. Interactive study tools are combined with online learning modules based on the SHRM BASK® to test your knowledge and decision-making skills.

1. ASSESS & PLAN

Enter your projected exam date and complete four short pre-tests to establish your current understanding of SHRM BASK® topics and identify your knowledge gaps. Then watch as the Learning System creates your customized study plan. You can sync your personal study plan with the course syllabus throughout your studies.  

 2. STUDY & LEARN

Your instructor helps lead you through your personalized study plan, designed to help you complete your studies in the most efficient way possible. Topic cards show each topic in your plan and your progress. Click on a card to access online reading content, audio segments, and interactive study tools. Simply click the “+” or “-“ sign to add or remove cards to modify your study plan.

 3. APPLY & REINFORCE

Put your learning to the test with more than 2,700 online practice questions and a wide range of engaging tools that include flashcards, quizzes, and more. Based on the results of your quizzes, the Learning System will either guide you forward to the next topic or provide you with content and resources for more in-depth review.

 4. REVIEW & SUCCEED

Finalize your studies with test-taking tips and a timed, 134-item practice exam to ensure you’re ready to pass the SHRM Certification exam.
