UNH Professional Development & Training is launching a certificate program uniquely designed for those new to the art of recording and producing music.

This 8-week certificate program is uniquely designed for those new to the art of recording and producing music. In this certificate program, students will learn the most crucial techniques of audio engineering prior to and following the mixing and mastering process, all while receiving hands-on experience. Students will gain mastery in the use of audio equipment as well as principles of critical listening, digital audio, Pro Tools, and recording. 

Instructor Justin Sheriff is an Audio Engineer with Cybersound Studios in Boston with over twenty years of experience in music. He has worked with notable artists such as Run-DMC, DMX, Chief Keef, Lauv, Flume, Liam Payne, Cousin Stizz, and Michael Christmas. Sheriff recorded, mixed and mastered the TikTok viral hit “Ashes” by Stellar which has over 40M streams and made the Billboard charts, Viral Hits playlist, and ranked in the top 5 for US Viral 50 and Global Viral 50, Spotify's official playlists.
