From the earliest years of her career, Debra was driven to continuously improve her knowledge, skills and effectiveness and soon realized helping others do the same was her true calling. She risked leaving a promising marketing career at a prestigious management consulting firm in Boston to invest personally and financially in her passion for improving individual and organizational effectiveness. Cashing in her 401k at 29 years old, Debra purchased a Priority Management® training franchise providing workshops, coaching and consulting on personal organization, planning, goal setting, time management, communication skills, and project management. After three years of more marketing and selling than actually delivering training, Debra discovered the path of Corporate Learning and Development and went on to spend the next 20 years as an internal practitioner specializing in leadership and organizational development for large, global technology companies. At Cabletron Systems for six years, starting as a Skills Instructor she quickly advanced to the role of Professional Development Manager and was promoted to Director of Worldwide Employee Development. Moving on to Fairchild Semiconductor for the next thirteen years, she transformed a stagnant, US-centric training department into a high-performing global Learning and Development function that cost-effectively served more than 10,000 employees across the US, Europe and Asia. Today, as an independent leadership development facilitator, coach and consultant operating as “ENSO Life by Design,” Debra has narrowed and deepened her focus on helping individuals lead themselves and their lives with more clarity, purpose and intention to achieve greater fulfillment, joy and success.
