Creating Wonder: Integrating the Arts into Elementary Math and Science
Discover how the arts can transform the way students experience math and science. Art-Integrated Learning (AIL) uses creative experiences as a pathway for understanding academic content, helping students make meaningful connections through poetry, music, storytelling, drama, visual art, and movement.
This dynamic, hands-on workshop will immerse educators in practical strategies that deepen mathematical and scientific thinking while strengthening creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. Participants will explore classroom-ready examples, engage in interactive learning experiences, and begin designing arts-integrated lessons aligned to their own curriculum.
Teachers are encouraged to bring current units, standards, or instructional materials so they can leave with lesson ideas and activities directly connected to what they teach.
