How to Prepare for U.S. Public Land Survey Questions on Professional Surveying Exams
Surveyor making measure on the field

While the colonial states do not have the U.S. Public Land Survey System (USPLS), there are still questions about it on national Professional Surveying exams - even if a surveyor resides in a colonial state. This seminar presents a general overview of the USPLS, focusing on questions that are common on the national examinations.

Townships, sections, subdivision of sections, lotting, meanders, existent corners, obliterated corners, and lost corners will be presented. Computations in the USPLS will be a highlight of the discussion with real world examples.
