This workshop will present how self-knowledge can impact our behavior towards ourselves and others by using the perspective of leadership through neuroscience.
We will cover, in brief, the following topics and then experience applied learning through small group breakout sessions with vignettes and impromptu leadership challenges. Topics include:
- a brief history of neuroscience,
- the basics of neuroanatomy in executive functioning,
- motivations of human needs through neurobiology,
- what makes a neuro-leader,
- understanding and creating a neuro-leadership model to use at work.
Through education, experience, and dialogue we will better understand how the neuroscience of leadership is involved in our everyday workplace experience. In-class practice and hands-on skills are a major part of this workshop.
