Fundamental of Surveying Exam (also know as Land Surveyor in Training exam) Preparation

The NCEES Fundamentals of Surveying exam is the first step towards land surveying licensure. The breadth of knowledge in the exam is not manageable for the working professional without a comprehensive review.

Topics covered through presented problems will be:

• all aspects of plane surveying,
• horizontal and vertical curves,
• boundary surveying, U.S. Public Land Survey system,
• geodesy and projection systems,
• photogrammetry and lidar,
• geographic information systems,
• and computer knowledge.

Students will learn how to identify and eliminate incorrect answers and time management. Students will leave with a comprehensive study guide. The format is questions and answers based.
