There are a host of medications that are supportive in the treatment of opioid, alcohol and tobacco use disorders. This workshop will inform the participant about the mechanism of action of these drugs and the neuroscience underlying their efficacy. It will also include a survey of related medications used to treat individuals who have co-morbid symptoms and diagnoses of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
