I have a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs concentrating in African Studies and French from The George Washington University.

I have a strong community and social services background, particularly with immigrant-led organizations and women and girls' empowerment programs.  Prior to living in Maine, I coordinated microfinance projects in Washington D.C. and Senegal.  I believe strongly in the power of grassroots organizations to transform communities!
