Katherine McBride, M.Ed., BCBA

For the past 25 years I have been dedicated to teaching and helping students, school staff and families. My goal has always been to create an environment for students to feel safe, so that they can thrive and grow academically, socially and emotionally. I started my journey as an elementary school teacher and then transitioned into the role of special educator. From there I moved into administration, first as a special education coordinator and then as a building principal for a PreK-8 school. I realized as a principal I missed working with students directly so I then went back to school at Antioch University and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. 

For the past 12 years as a BCBA it has been my passion to share my knowledge and experiences to all those working with children and young adults with diverse needs. I love providing specialized training to school staff, therapists, administrators, families and other BCBAs. Modeling THE best practices and strategies while also providing resources to ensure student success IS A TRUE PASSION FOR ME. 

The creation of my company McBride Consulting is the result of my years in the field and my desire to bring together the best people that are all dedicated to helping create positive behavior change, so that ALL students can lead their best lives!
