ADHD Classroom Hacks

The ADHD brain is wired differently, and neuroscience shows us that it is not a disorder of being unable to pay attention, but rather a difficulty in paying attention to too much and effectively filtering out irrelevant stimuli. This workshop will delve into some common characteristics of ADHD, such as dopamine seeking, motivation, time blindness, cognitive overload, task paralysis, and evidence-based strategies to support these needs.
