Communication and Connection in the Age of AI and Remote Work
In today's workplace, technology often replaces face-to-face connection. AI tools handle tasks that once required collaboration. Remote and hybrid work means many of us spend more time looking at screens than at each other. Yet research consistently shows that human connection is the foundation of effective teams, with 32% of employees describing their workplaces as isolated (Gallup, 2025).
This full-day workshop addresses this challenge head-on. Learn about psychological safety, the impact of workplace loneliness, and how different forms of communication can support building stronger teams. This workshop will explore the impact of AI and different working environments (in-person, hybrid, remote) on employees, leaders, and organizations.
Participants will experience a facilitated Connection Experience that moves beyond small talk to genuine understanding, modeling how team connection can impact how teams work together. You'll then debrief the experience, discussing what you noticed about how authentic connection develops and what conditions support it.
