Mark Majewski

Mark Majewski is the current creative director of the Boston Bruins and TD Garden, in his fifth season at the helm.

During this 2023-24 season, the Bruins celebrated their Centennial season, marking the first American team of the National Hockey League to turn 100-years old, and third ever behind Montreal and Toronto. As of of this season, Majewski played an instrumental part leading the Bruins through its 18-month Centennial season celebration, keying in and developing the baseline identity of the 2023-24 season and expanding those elements in a unique, elaborate and cohesive look and feel bringing 100 years of Bruins hockey to life - the ideation, development and execution of the Centennial has touched all aspects of the organization, including all digital platforms, the Bruins’ opening video signaling the start of the season, all in-arena assets and new public space, Heritage Hall, a new state-of-the-art immersive exhibit that will celebrate the franchise’s rich 100-year history.

In his day to day role as creative director for the B’s, he serves as the lead designer and oversees creative resources for all divisions of the Boston Bruins, TD Garden, and related Boston-based business lines through conceptualizing, executing and monitor the integrity of the brand, functioning both as lead designer and managing Boston’s project manager.

Majewski’s career started off in the public relations / communications / marketing sector of college athletics before making the full-time switch to creative in the professional ranks.

Prior to the Bruins, Majewski was the the Director of Creative Solutions, Design & Digital at Clemson University for one season, handling the day-to-day execution of the department social media accounts with a primary focus on the management and design of the Clemson football account ( @ClemsonFB ). In addition to that oversight, Majewski prepared, delegated and executed daily content plans for the Clemson football social media channels, including the run up to and through the football program’s National Championship in 2018.

Before Clemson, Majewski was the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at Boston College for five years (2013-18), serving as the public relations representative / sports information director for the men’s hockey program. In addition to his PR representation duties, his role changed and became more involved to better serve BC from a visual and digital standpoint; spearheading a consistent look and feel on all fronts to enhance Boston College’s brand by upholding a relationship with Under Armour ensuring standards we’re being met.

In his first full-time role, Majewski was the Associate Director of Athletics Communications at Northeastern University, also serving as the public relations representative for the men’s hockey program, as well as volleyball, track & field and other duties.

Majewski has spoken at many conferences throughout the country including the Twitter Sports Summit, Major Level Creative Conference, SVG College Summit and the College Sports Information Directors of America on topics ranging from graphic design to visual branding to best social media practices.

Majewski graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005 with a degree in Sports Management & Communication and acquired his Master’s Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit in Sport Administration.
